How to make l go past EOL and h go past BOL?

Steve Litt
Hi all,

There's some setting for Vim to make l go to the next line if it's already on
the last char of the line, and h to go to the end of the preceding line if
it's already on the first char of a line. What's the setting for that in Vim?

Thanks

'whichwrap'

I believe you want:

:set whichwrap=h,l
