Problem with TOhtml (2html.vim) & euro symbol (latin1 encoding)

Thomas-4-2
Hi,

I recently tried to convert the following ruby snippet to html using the
2html.vim script & TOhtml:

@special_symbols['€'] = '€'

The result is (just the inner body):

<span style="background-color: #101013"><font
color="#009acd">@special_symbols</font></span>[<font
color="#ffa500">'</font><span class="Constant"><t_</>span><font
color="#ffa500">'</font>] = <font color="#ffa500">'</font><span
style="background-color: #101013"><font
color="#8fbcad">&amp;euro;</font></span><font color="#ffa500">'</font>

So for whatever reason "€" (Euro symbol) becomes "<span
class="Constant"><t_</>span>" in the html output. Is there a way to
avoid this problem? I use VIM 6.3.80 (Win XP).

Cheers,
Thomas.
