Time Delayed Event

jason heddings-2
Hello-

Is it possible to delay the firing of an event until some point in the
future?  For example:

:5doautocmd Foo

Would fire the Foo event after 5 seconds.  It could be something like:

:sleep 5
:doau Foo

But, during that sleep, I would not be able to do anything.  I'd like to
continue editing during the sleep time.  Is this possible?
