todo suggestion: remote feature for console vim

iler.ml
Hello Bram,

Would you consider to include into"todo list'"
the remote feature for console vim, that'd rely on basic kernel-provided
IPC (maybe pipes or sokets) without dependency on large
packages (like X1 and dbus) not packaged with vim
and not present on console systems ?

Yakov

It has been briefly mentioned.  There are many things that need to be
taken care of, including portability and security.  Sockets would be the
most appropriate, but they are not portable (work differently on
MS-Windows).  And then a protocol has to be designed to specify what
goes through it.  And once it's there it will trigger a ton of new
feature requests...
